Terms & Conditions

The terms that govern your enquiry, quotation, and project with us — from first consultation to final handover.

Last Updated: July 31, 2026 Applies to: All Design & Execution Projects Governing Law: India, Telangana Jurisdiction
01

Scope of Services

GK Home Interiors provides residential and commercial interior design services, including space planning, design consultation, 3D visualization, material selection, execution, and project management, as agreed in your project-specific quotation.

Services outside the scope defined in your signed quotation — including additional rooms, furniture, or civil work — are treated as change requests under Section 6, and billed separately.

02

Quotations & Pricing

All quotations are prepared based on the property details, requirements, and budget shared by you at the time of enquiry. Pricing is calculated on a room-wise, square-feet (SFT) basis and is valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

  • Quotations are estimates based on information available at the time; final pricing may vary after a physical site visit.
  • Prices exclude government taxes (GST) unless explicitly mentioned as inclusive.
  • A quotation becomes a binding project agreement only upon written confirmation and advance payment.
03

Payment Terms

Payments are collected in stages, tied to project milestones. A typical payment structure is:

40%
Advance — on order confirmation
30%
On material procurement / production start
20%
On-site installation milestone
10%
Balance — on handover

Exact milestone percentages and stages will be specified in your project quotation/invoice. Work will not commence, and materials will not be procured, until the applicable advance is received. Delayed payments may result in a corresponding delay in project timelines.

04

Project Timeline

Estimated project timelines are communicated at the time of quotation and are dependent on design complexity, material availability, and site readiness. Timelines may be affected by factors outside our control, including delayed client approvals, site access issues, third-party vendor delays, or force majeure events.

05

Client Responsibilities

To ensure smooth project execution, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate property measurements, access, and requirement details
  • Respond to design approvals, material selections, and payment requests within agreed timeframes
  • Ensure the site is accessible and civil-work-ready as per the agreed schedule
  • Communicate any change in requirements in writing, prior to execution of the relevant stage
06

Change Requests

Any changes requested after design approval — including material changes, layout modifications, or scope additions — will be evaluated for cost and timeline impact and communicated to you before proceeding. Verbal change requests will not be executed without written or WhatsApp confirmation.

07

Cancellation & Refunds

  • Before material procurement: Cancellation is permitted with deduction of design and consultation costs incurred.
  • After material procurement: Amounts spent on ordered/customized materials are non-refundable, as these are procured specifically for your project.
  • After execution begins: Refunds will be limited to the value of work not yet completed, after deducting costs already incurred.
08

Warranty

We provide a workmanship warranty on execution work for a period specified in your project agreement (typically 12 months from handover), covering manufacturing or installation defects. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modification, normal wear and tear, or events beyond our control.

Warranty on third-party products (appliances, fittings, electronics) is governed by the respective manufacturer’s warranty terms.

09

Materials & Third-Party Vendors

Where materials or services are sourced from third-party vendors, we exercise reasonable care in vendor selection but do not guarantee outcomes beyond the vendor’s own warranty or service terms. Any defects in third-party products will be addressed in coordination with the respective vendor.

10

Intellectual Property

All design concepts, 3D visualizations, drawings, and layouts created by GK Home Interiors remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon full and final payment, you receive the right to use the final design for your property. Design concepts may not be reproduced, resold, or used for other properties without our written consent.

11

Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the value of the specific project stage in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for delays and damages arising from causes beyond our reasonable control, including force majeure events, third-party vendor failures, or client-side delays.

12

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith discussion. If unresolved, the matter will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
